e6600 overclocking

Hello

i have core duo e6600, overclocked it to 3.3.Ghz (366x9).
But /proc/cpuinfo shows only 3000Mhz. Why ?
After reset bios shows 3.29Ghz.
Default kernel from gentoo
(as far as i know there should be no automatic changes of cpu frequency).

How does it work ?
.
