Re: Usb key disapearing

Normally i would physically unplug the key for some time, replug it,
get it auto-detected and start working with it again. Problem only
happens with this key, i have others that work fine on that usb port.

I have a usb harddrive that used to do this. But it got better when the
usb and usb-storage drivers got better. It still has the issue on
occasion, but far less often. My guess would be that your device doesn't
support usb very well, or your usb drivers don't support your chipset
well. Or you might be using the wrong usb drivers, ohci vs. uhci. But
it's just a guess. If you have other like devices(same make/model) that
work fine then it's likely the device. If other usb devices work fine,
then it might not be your usb drivers, further confirming that it's the
device.
