Is anyone completely happy with their Core2 motherboard?

I'm thinking of upgrading my workstation to a Core2, it's currently got a
single core A64 and it's starting to develop some problems (it frequently
takes a couple of minutes to find grub and I'm seeing some BIOS errors
during boot). A BIOS upgrade would probably fix my problems but it can't
be done, even though the board is an MSI K8N Neo2 it has an HP BIOS which
stops the MSI flasher from installing a new BIOS. So I figure I'll use
this as an excuse to upgrade to a Core2.
My main compute server has an ABit AB9 Pro which is an awful board, it's
riddled with Linux incompatibilities. I managed to install FC6 last fall
but I can't install CentOS5. LMsensors can't read the CPU temperature,
and it has to use the Performance speed governor because it crashes with
the on-demand governor.
Is anyone completely happy with their Core2 motherboard? I'm looking for
a board where there are no install issues, LM sensors works, usermode and
ondemand speed governors work, and the Ethernet is fully supported.
