So it seems that I'm finding out. There are some great usb 2.0 recording
devices out there. It's just a shame they have no linux drivers.
There's been a discussion recently on the Linux Audio Users mailing list
about exactly one of those USB microphones and how well it does work on
Linux. I guess folks are using it. Check the list for details.
