We have a new server (Fedora Core 5) with a four port Intel NIC card.
The CD that came with the card has a driver for the e1000 gb card.
Below is the list from the "locate e1000" command.
Try this:
dmesg | grep e1000
And see if your kernel hasn't already found it and used the e1000 driver
that came with FC5. If not, try "modprobe e1000". The e1000 drivers have
come with all kernels from RedHat for quite some time.
