Yes. This is good advice. I use Laserjet 4 and Laserjet 5 here. I was forever
throwing out inkjet printers, so I jumped on Ebay and bought some Laserjets,
and they just run without hassle.
(HP Laserjets use PCL rather than postscript, but PCL is well documented and is
supported on GNU/Linux without any issues.)
Many HP Laserjet 4/5 have PostScript and/or network cards (I've got one) and
don't cost much more than a bare machine so are worth searching out.
