Can't use tape drive (no /dev/st0)

Hello buddies,
I've purchased PV110 tape drive and Poweredge 2970 with RHEL v4 pre-
installed.
However, I can't use the tape drive.
When booting the machine, it shows that PV110 has been attached.
But I can't use the tape drive because there is no /dev/st0 device
file.
# mt -f /dev/st0 status
/dev/st0: No such file or directory
This is some related machine information:

Morever, running kudzu but no new device detected. How can I use the
tape drive? Thanks!
