"Sharing" Audio Hardware Output!

I have tried investigating this myself BUT I don't think I understand
what is required well enough, so I thought I'd try here and ask for
suggestions.

I have been experimenting with some "free" closed source software for
radio use, under Wine in this particular case.

This sofware grabs /dev/dsp, reads "encrypted" audio from Mic-In and
sends the "un-encrypted" audio to "Speaker-Out". It works incredibly
well BUT it has very limited features, especially if I wish to capture
the output.

My question is, is it possible to "tee" the output from /dev/dsp so
that in addition to listening to the audio on the speakers I can also
save it to a disk file? Is there some daemon or kernel function that
will allow this?

I know I can use external capture methods BUT I'd like to attempt some
access on a single computer.

In case anyone is interested the software is located at

Thanks in advance for any help. By-the way, this is legal in Canada!
