The op has a 64 bit machine. THERE ARE NO NEW 32 BIT MACHINES. Since
2004 i386 has come to an end. Think about it and you'll get the point.

32-bit x86 in commodity hardware, yes. And such hardware was certainly still
available as new last year - I saw some and, indeed, have one item of said
hardware; and before you ask, no, it doesn't matter that it's 32-bit :-)
