SuSE 10.3 with Microsoft Natural Keyboard 4000 doesn't work

Hi group,
I have a strange problem with my new keyboard and I can't solve it.
I would like to work with the F-keys but they doesn't act right. There
is no response when I press any F-key .
When I run "xev" and press F1 I get the following:
