You need more than just the driver for the hardware to get that going. You
also need to have kernel support for *V4L/DBV* (video for Linux and direct
video broadcasting) and possibly for amateur radio.

Most distributions will come with these modules pre-installed -
unfortunately I don't use it and so I can't tell you the exact name - so
you should look for them under */lib/modules/<your_kernel_version>*
and /modprobe/ them.
