If its a data DVD, you have a problem -- it's either a bad disc, or
player. But, from the output, it doesn't look that way.
It looks like you are running into "DVD copy protection" (not CSS).
Ignore the problem - mplayer, xine, mythtv (with libdecss installed)
will play your movie just fine. You just can't access it as a "data
DVD", which is what you seem to be doing.
The DVD is actually slightly malformed, and is causing the data read to
read parts of the disc which just aren't there.
Load up Mythtv, it has a good DVD player and ripper. Should take you to
that good place, where DVDs can be ripped, and it never rains.

Hello. Problem is simple - can't read DVD discs (actually i can mount.
them, i can list files, but i`t wont work further). It`s new (2nd one
already, thought, that 1st had a deffect or what). It's a Samsung SATA
rom.
This is not a codec problem.
