Hello,
That long number is probably the UUID.
That is possible. Though the number starts with many zeros it has the
right length. However it is quite uninteresting where the long number
comes from. Important is that it is unique. I guess it is. At least it
is very improbable that I will ever see a 2nd device with the same
serial number.
Far more interesting is why the mentioned drive does not provide such
a number....
