Yes, but some desktops are getting out of hand. I recently got a
1.5GHz P4 with .5G RAM and it was smoking along pretty good with KDE
3.5. Just moved up to Slack 13 with KDE 4.2. Immediately took at
least a 20% speed hit. KDE has become a real pig.
