Hi,

May I side track a little bit for your experience?

I'm also using vsftpd in Redhat 9, no matter how I do, I can't make
restrict local users from cd to /.

In vsftpd.conf, I've given,

# You may specify an explicit list of local users to chroot() to their home
# directory. If chroot_local_user is YES, then this list becomes a list of
# users to NOT chroot().
chroot_list_enable=YES
#chroot_local_user=YES
# (default follows)
#chroot_list_file=/etc/vsftpd/vsftpd.chroot_list

What's the format of vsftpd.chroot_list, I can't find it out from
internet.

Is there bug on this version?

Your help is highly appreciated.

Thanks,
dove
