I'm a sw dev with a windows background and one of the big Linux advantages
for me is that you *should* basically be able to find out why something is
happening by looking at the source code.
I'm having some problems on getting going though. Where to start looking,
what techniques to use? Perhaps some of you guys can give me some pointers.
To make this all a little more concrete, I wanted to find out why linux
(2.4.21) is hitting my floppy disk when I switch off my monitor with
built-in USB hub. Obvious start would be the USB driver but I didn't find
anything there. How do you go about finding where the code for this is?
Thanks!!!!
