Hi,

How well supported are LCD monitors in linux? I'm thinking of getting
the new Sony SDM-HX73 monitor in the near future, but want to make sure
I can get it to work in linux first. I plan on running Manrake 9.2 with
it. I notice that Mandrake 9.2 doesn't have drivers for any recent Sony
LCD monitors. Will the generic monitor drivers work for LCD monitors? Is
DVI supported in linux?

Thanks!
George
