I have a debian 3.0r0 (virtual bochs) machine that is pre-built
(obtained from sourceforge). Everything is working great with a
little tweaking (nic recognized, fair xwindows display, etc.) but I am
having a problem when I try to use apt-get to install anything. I
always receive the following error message...

Building Dependency Tree... Done
E: The package kernel-image-2.4.19 needs to be reinstalled, but I
can't find an
archive for it.

I don't really care about reinstalling or hurting the installation,
but I would like to be able to install other software. Any
suggestions on resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated...

regards,

paul
