Interesting. But a slight correction: The future of *corporate Linux*
is what you are referring to.

None of what you have to say has the slightest relevance to the Linux that
myself and many, many others owe allegiance to.

The only thing they can do is block us from websites and services that we
have no interest in. <chuckle>

We have all the software we will ever need, which we can modify and extend
at will, stored safely off the Internet.

The freedom of the Internet must drive these poor fascists absolutely
crazy. You see a lot of that on the Usenet, where people go berserk when
they discover that they simply lack the power to silence those with points-
of-view that differ from theirs.
