My hardware:

AMD Athlon XP 1600+ processor
NVida GeForce2 MX 400 64MB graphics card (don't know which monitor though)
Intel V92 HaM Data Fax Voice modem (doesnt work, couldnt find any drivers)
And a basic sound card - doesn't work, don't even know where to set it up
My Epson Stylus C60 USB printer won't show up on auto-detect but it lets me
add it manually, there I have a coice of 3 USB ports (I actually have 4 and
they're not numbered). Neither one of them gives an error message but
neither one of them works either.
My scanner is an ancient Mustek 1200ED (serial port)

Also, every time I access the CD Drive or open a folder off the desktop it
gives me an error message that it could not find it, but opens it any way.

A pitty that it seems to be such a pain to set up / have the right hardware
for, it seems so nice in all the other aspects that I've had time to
explore! <Sigh>
