As I've said earlier, I'm having some problems with Mandrake Linux 9.1 that
I've recently installed.

The main problem that I'm having right now is that there is no sound! I
can't even find a function to set it up anywhere! Somebody please help.
According to WinXP, I'm using a "SiS 7017 Audio Driver" and a "MPU-401
Compatible MIDI Device".

Also, my Epson C60 printer does NOT print in Linux. I think this may be
because it uses an MSWindows-based printing manager, but can I still make
it work in Linux with Wine or something? I also haven HP LaserJet 6L
printer hooked up to the same computer, and that works fine even in
Mandrake even though it also uses an MSWindows-based printing status window
(that I have not installed on Mandrake!)

Whenever I double-click on an item on the desktop, I get the error message
like this: "There was an error in loading the Module Navigation Panel. The
diagnostics is: libkmulitabar.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No
such file or directory"

When I was installing Mandrake, I accidentally told it that my second
printer (Epson) is an HP/Sony multi-functional system, and the setup
program froze, causing me to reset the computer without it being completed,
but that was after all the "Install" was complete, these were the "post-
install" steps or-whatever-it-called-them. I don't know whether this has
affected the OS in any serious way, if it has please tell me how and do you
know how to fix this/reinstall Mandrake?

Thanks in advance.
