Actually, no. I didn't create or even use a doinst.sh script it
is created by "makepkg".

The doinst.sh script is created by "makepkg" while compressing
the binary package into a ".tgz" file for installation.
Thanks for the reply but I figured it out finally and posted what
I found to fix it here earlier.
