for those who maybe interested ...
I installed new AMSN package which was updated yesterday Oct 14 and it
worked with the new msn protocole.
I also installed gaim 0.71, but it was unable to msn plugin. The package was
updated Oct. 10, according to http://freshmeat.net/search/?q=gaim
So no joy with with gaim as of version 0.71 as long as msn network
concerned. AMSN (Alvaro's Messenger) version 0.83 works fine. I am a happy
camper.
