minimal /dev devices

I want to pare down the /dev folder, but I do not want to remove
anything necessary. Is there anything other than my hardware
(/dev/hdc*, /dev/sda*) and the tty's that is necessary? I noticed
things like /dev/beep and /dev/core and don't want to remove them if
they are needed for bootup.
