DOSEMU DOS Cursor in WordStar Xbox

Does anyone know how to get a DOS cursor in WordStar or even the older
VDE DOS wordprocessor. The programs both run fine except that the cursor
of DOSEMU is up in the top right quarter of the Xbox. It does work in a
console.
It is kind of hard to word process when you don't know where the cursor is
on the screen.
Any suggestions?
