Hi,
Another problem I'm having with the new Mandrake 9.0 secure kernel is
that I can't ping into the server. I can ping out to my workstation (which
is also running Man 9.0, but not in "secure" mode), but I can't ping from
the workstation to the server.
Is this another "feature" of the secure kernel? I'd like to be able to
ping the server from the "inside" (ie from my workstation, on eth0), but
not from the "outside" (the Internet, on eth1). How do I set up iptables
to do this? Is there a daemon I have to run to enable ping responses?
