Yeah. Audio CDs don't have an ISO9660 filesystem on them, so attempting
to generate one is kinda pointless.
If you want to rip an audio CD, one way is to use cdparanoia, then offer
up the resulting .wav files for download. Burn the .wav files as an
audio CD, and you'll get something that's pretty similar (but not
exactly alike thanks to the burning program's insertion of 2-second
gaps between tracks for Red Book compliance) to the original CD.
Or you can use "cdrdao read-cd" , which will produce a .bin file and a
.toc file. Rename the .toc file to .cue , then burn it using whatever
program on the burner's OS supports bin/cue files (cdrdao does this on
Linux.) This should give you something that's very very close to an
exact copy of the source CD. HTH,
