>>> Moderate good news to report - I changed the NIC yet again to a 3COM
3C905C (very good card) and to my surprise and glee I am now able to ping
the gateway in addition to pinging IP addresses on the Internet. However,
I can't get HTTP access to the Internet. For example, a Lynx call to
http://www.yahoo.com (and other locations) results in "host not found" but
a ping to the IP address for the same server is good. I can, however, make
a Lynx call to the HTTP server in the router.
Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Moose
