That did it. I recalled enough of the bits-n-stuff from my last install
to make it fairly simple. Of course, everything like this seems simple
after you wade through it.

Why would I want to do that? It boots without those parameters, but if
they're helpful...
Thank you very much! But I still can't get my Windows to load, and I'll
need that for certain things.
