Hi,
I am using debian woody linux and I'm after a simple command line program to
password protect a file (symmetrical encryption)
I'm not after world beating levels of security, just comething to obscure
the data from a casual observer (better than rot13 though)
On solaris there used to be a program called "encrypt" I think but I don't
know what the underlying technology was.
Is there anything like this included or freely available?
many thanks
Andy
