Two problems:

(1) Most likely your cable ISP blocks port 80.
(2) Your IP address will change, and you won't be able to register the
domain.

One workaround, is to use your "home page" which most ISPs will give you
(e.g. http://members.cox.net/anils_page) Then on your ISP home page,
provide links to your IP address and port number that apache is listening
on. Then on linux have a cron that ftps a new dynamically built entry page
every x hours, with the current IP address.
