Hi

I am using RH 9
Kernel 2.4.20.x

I have a file system of type "tmpfs" mounted on /dsk1
I login as user bob (group=bang) and did this :
I created a file "abc" on it using "touch /dsk1/abc"
then I chmod 777 /dsk1/abc
and then I did ls -al /dsk1/abc to see its permissions and I found that it is
"-rwxrwxrwx"

Now I login as user jim (group=bang) and tried to do this :
rm /dsk1/abc it doesnt allow me to do so. It says:
rm: cannot remove /dsk1/abc: Operation not permitted

any clue or suggestions ?

thx in advance
