Error writing with cdrecord

Hello

I tried burning Video CDs with cdrecord. However, I always get the
following error whether I'm using root or a non-priviledged user.
Could someone tell me what I'm missing? Thanks!

Note: I'm running SuSE 9.0 with an Acer 8x4x32 CD-RW writer.
