Are you always so suspicious? Though I have my own mailserver I prefer
receiving mail on other servers with spam-killers. I don't have the time
and knowledge to configure one only for myself.

Mea culpa, I never encountered anything like this before. Now I am a bit
cleverer again.
But to make you happier: yes, you are true, I should have contacted the
root of the mailserver first, but I thought it was a problem of the
configuration in OE.
