More like "let there be chaos", IMO.

easy to ferret out the many (inconsistent) ways of the Windows clock
and timestamps.

Had not checked the tech pages recently and it appears that they've
screwed it up again -- at least in some specific situations, eg., time
based printer availability. The many and never ending joys of Windows
...

Windows clock/timestamp behavior can be very dependent on the
environment you run in and not simply the settings on a particular
machine -- oh joy, oh joy!
