I am about to switch from modem to cable Internet connection, and I want
to setup web and mail server. My cable ISP can give me fix IP address.
Now what? Register name with nic. I need to give them 2 DNS servers that
operate 24/7. Do I have to configure that on my box, or I can use some
other DNS servers? Nic will refuse my application for registration if I
do not provide primary and secondary DNS.
What about mail server. How do I get mail at my_address@my_domain.com ?
Any help or link will be appreciated.
