I have 2 digital cameras. One is an olympus, and the other is a pentax.
I would like to add scripts to /etc/hotplug that do the following:
when a camera is plugged in
mount /mnt/camera
mv /mnt/camera/dcim/*/* /home/$camera/$date
umount /mnt/camera
I can't seem to get a grasp on how hotplug works. The above should be
simple - ID the device that's plugged in, based on that, run a script.
But I can't figure out how hotplug picks what script to run....
Any docs out there? Any hints, howtos?
Thanks,
--Kamus
