I have a DVD+RW drive (scanbus below) DVD+RW ND-2100AD and am trying
to use growisofs to record a data dvd. I am getting

  peds-pc311:~/isos> growisofs -M /dev/scd0 -r .
:-( /dev/scd0: media is not recognized as recordable DVD: 0

The media are Verbatim DVD-R 4x. Do I need DVD+R media to work with
this drive? I tried using cdrecord-prodvd but failed, apparently
because it is a DVD+RW drive

Thanks!
