ALL:
Merely a question to see if there are people doing such things as :
(1) Running a distro or homebrew version on Sparc or UltraSparc
or
(2) Running a distro or homebrew version on IBM Power architecture
such as the Apple G5
and
(3) Attempting to build a recent kernel. ( see www.kernel.org )
I am asking this to see if there are people that would do such a thing
that is clearly not in the realm of the x86 architecture. I have been
working on a linux-from-scratch project on a quad processor Sparc server
and have had limited success as I run into codebase issues with non-x86
processors.
Is there anyone working on this sort of thing for any reason?
Thank you in advance,
Dennis Clarke
