Sounds strange, but doesn't it make perfect sense if you sell
systems running "Lindows?" or alike, which, from what we have
heard here more then once, never used it, forces the user to run
as root all time? It somehow says, hell we have no clue at all
but then we are just a reseller...

Second that!
We have to let them know, that people buy someones hardware
exactly because it works well with Linux.
Quite often, high-end (server) hardware like SCSI hw RAID
controller are quite well supported, sometimes they have
features, like updating NVRAM on the card while running, that are
not available on other OS. Probably, as you can order Linux
server directly from most if not all major hardware vendors these
days. That doesn't seem to be true for Linux desktops?
