Help! What am I looking for?

I need a web application that does the following:

allows the admin to set up individual users

user areas are private (password protected)

each user can maintain a log of certain events (race performance, training
event times, etc.)

the admin can review and respond to each posting by a user

There is a public area for users to interact (sort of like Yahoo groups),
possibly with different topics

Ultimately, I'd like to be able to tabulate the events for each user, and
do some analysis for those users

This is for an individual coaching/training web site. I haven't had any
luck with Google, since I have no idea what this type of application might
be called. I've tried teaching, coaching, training but it's all too broad.

Any ideas on this? Any suggestions on what I'm looking for so I can
google away?
