What really matter here is which printing system you're using. AFAICT,
Sarge offers all three common ones (original LPR, LPRng, CUPS). Which
one are you using?

I'd bypass the wizard. Chances are it assumes a RedHat (or derivative)
distro. Rather than trying to make it "play nice" with Debian, I'd just
set up the printer using whatever method suits your printing system.
