Well this is weird in ~/.xessesion-errors I see:
/home/oswald/.xresources: line 1: old: command not found
/home/oswald/.xresources: line 2: xterm.vt100.geometry:: command not found
/home/oswald/.xresources: line 3: !xterm.geometry:: command not found
/home/oswald/.xresources: line 4: xterm*background:: command not found
but in ~/.Xdefaults
!old seettings
xterm.vt100.geometry: 109x4+-6+60
!xterm.geometry: 97x8+0+54
xterm*background: darkblue
Did something change in writing such file? it used to be that "_!_"
would _disable_ the following line.
