Respect? You don't know the meaning of the word. Had you had any
respect, either for me or for my colleague, you would have provided
information about GUI front ends instead of venting your ill informed
prejudices.

>you need to get with the program.

Sorry, tonto, but I'm not a lemming. You'll have to give me better
reasons than conformity to change my computing habits[1].

>Do you drive a car with a crank that needs to be hand turned to

Do you beat your wife? Do you sneer at those who prefer a manual
transmission or who ride a bicycle?

>Do you cook all your meals over an open fire?

I used to. We had this invention called a stove. Currently I'm doing
without the open fire.

>People who think like you

Sorry, pendejo, but you don't have the remotest conception of how I
think. You're just letting your prejudices speak for you.

>are going to hold Linux back and perpetuate the myth that Linux

Au contraire, it is people like you who are valiantly, but
unsuccessfully, trying to hold Linux back. And it is you who is
*blindly* insisting that I follow the crowd instead of using the tools
best suited to the task at hand.

>Maybe you think you are a superior being by virtue of your highly

I don't have to run faster than the bear. I just have to run faster
than you.

>I'll give you a hint,

I'll give you a hint; it is better to keep silent and be thought a
fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt. If you don't want
to continue making a fool of yourself, do a little research before you
make asinine assumptions about what tools another poster does or does
not use.

>I use cli and gui as well but I don't have the supercillious, better

Merde! You are ten times more arrogant than I would ever dream of
being. From a simple "Please don't ask me why he
wants a GUI; I don't see the point to it," you presume to draw a raft
of conclusions with no basis in fact, and present your feeble attempt
at a flame as though those conclusions were any more than absurd
fantasies. You need to learn humility, because you have a lot to be
humble about. You are a pompous, hypocritical pipsqueek with delusions
of adequacy.

But you do have a useful function: providing contrast. After reading
your screed, I am that much more grateful to the other posters in this
thread, how have provided information that will actually be of some
use to my colleague. Thy are actually helping to advance the use of
Linux, unlike you.

[1] About which you know even less than you do about respect.
