Yup, a bit annoying that you won't find a rpm of the recent
version. Never took the time to make my own.
Usually, I install to /usr/local/mozilla-<version>, copy the
"plugins" dir over and make a symlink, so I can fall back in a
second, if something doesn't work out.

BTW
You should try firefox 1.0, it really rocks, installing plugins is
done in a second and there are some nice extensions, like "zoom".
