I have FC2 and am using K3b to burn CDs and DVDs on a NEC 2500a DVD drive.
CD burning works fine and is fast. DVD burning works , but the speed is
always 1x , the drive is an 8X drive and I have tried both 4x and 8x media
and the speed is always 1x. The DVD burning speeds in K3b have no effect.
I read somthing about the version of CD record that comes with FC2 being a
hacked version to support DVD , does it support burning at speeds > 1x. Is
anybody getting 4x or 8x speeds while burning DVDs?
JR.
