Fedora Core 2: Webcam?

I would like to buy a basic webcam for my Fedora Core 2 machine.

After a lot of searching, I found a Philips driver which is no longer
maintained.
Other drivers require a a kernel recompile.

Does anyone know of any (recent) webcams that work out of the box,
without a kernel recompile, with Fedora Core 2? FC3 would be good too
