Hi!

I'm configuring Samba to act as PDC for Windows XP clients. Samba must
store user and computer accounts for client. Is computer name case
sensitive? For instance, is Machine_Name$ same as MACHINE_NAME$ ?

The issue is that when I configure client (Control Panel -> System ->
Computer Name, change 'Workgroup' to 'Domain') all is OK, but when reboot
system and enter user name and password, I get message that domain
controller isn't found or there is no computer account in it.

Thanks for help.

Dmitry Davletbaev.
