$ pmap -V
pmap (procps version 3.2.3)
IIRC pmap (nice plug from solaris) came in earlier procps
versions. 3.2.3 is the most recent version, works fine with
2.4/2.6. The distro delivered tools are mostly quite outdated,
things just move fast.;)
