linux on xbox ?

Hi,
I am trying to install linux on my xbox. I did the saved game hack and
got the mini version of linux installed on it but I can't get the full
install because my early xbox refuses to read any cd-r or cd-rw discs
I make. I ftped the contents of the xebian linux to my xbox but I am
not sure how to mount it. There is a livefs file on the cd which I
think I should be able to mount but I can't get the "insmod ...cloop.o
livefs" to work. Does this make any sense to anyone ? Any ideas what I
am doing wrong ?
